Rainbow Snippets is a group for LGBTQIA authors, readers, and bloggers to gather once a week to share six sentences from a work of fiction–a WIP or a finished work or even a 6-sentence book recommendation (no spoilers please!).
In this group you’ll find anything from romance and historical fiction to mystery and YA. The common thread is that every story’s main character identifies as LGBTQIA. The snippets could range from zero flames to full-on sexytimes, anything goes content-wise. The only rule is snippets will be 6 sentences long–one for each color in the Pride flag.”
Welcome to another Saturday filled with Rainbow Snippets!
The link below will take you to the public Facebook group where you find both new and established authors posting bits from their WIPs and new releases:

Warning: This is not a kids book, some naughty stuff might creep in. Today’s scene continues a little further along from last week.
The conversation continued, more energetically now, as each person planned their strategy for the hapless Mr. Little’s fate. Joan, observing, could hear snippets of frustration, details she hadn’t heard before, and harsher words as the members of the Cadre shared their bad memories of and experiences with their target.
This is not the time or the place, she decided, and began slowly tapping the silver ring—Bob had given it to her, two years into their contract—against the hard tabletop for order, like the judge that she was. After about twenty seconds, the room fell silent, and all eyes turned to her.
“Much still needs to be arranged tonight, so there’s no time for this right now. We will have time to discuss the whos, wheres, whats and whens once he’s been brought to the location.”
