Rainbow Snippets Dec 31-Jan 1

Rainbow Snippets is a group for LGBTQIA authors, readers, and bloggers to gather once a week to share six sentences from a work of fiction–a WIP or a finished work or even a 6-sentence book recommendation (no spoilers please!).

In this group, you’ll find anything from romance and historical fiction to mystery and YA. The common thread is that every story’s main character identifies as LGBTQIA. The snippets could range from zero flames to full-on sexytimes; anything goes content-wise. The only rule is snippets will be six sentences long–one for each color in the Pride flag.”

Welcome to another Saturday filled with Rainbow Snippets!

The link below will take you to the public Facebook group where you find both new and established authors posting bits from their WIPs and new releases:

You might have noticed that I’ve been fiddling around with covers for this story. Let me know which one you like, then I’ll keep the most popular one for the duration of the snippets.

We find out what happens to the briefs in this snippet. Enjoy!

Lawrence stood up, his dick peeking out between his shirt flaps. He climbed over the young man and grabbed for the briefs.

“I didn’t say when you’d get them.” Curtis looked at his phone on the nightstand. “I don’t have to be at work until noon.” He tucked the briefs under the bed and leaned over to leave a row of kisses along Lawrence’s neck.

Tease! And we can all guess what’s going to happen until noon 😉

Oops, I didn’t comment on the covers. I think I like this week’s one best, and second choice the one from 17 December.

Poor Lawrence! I’m pretty sure this isn’t what he thought he was in for.

(And I like this week’s cover.)

There’s no confusion with pockets. Lawrence is definitely happy to see him. 🙂 I rather like the mysterious air of this cover, although it depends on what kind of an over all mood you want to convey to potential readers. This particular one hints of intrigue, secrets, and danger.

Sexy! I think he’ll forget about the briefs pretty soon.

Fun scene. I like the cover you’re showing today. It’s different, yet appealing.
