Rainbow Snippets Jan 20-21

Rainbow Snippets is a group for LGBTQIA authors, readers, and bloggers to gather once a week to share six sentences from a work of fiction–a WIP or a finished work or even a 6-sentence book recommendation (no spoilers please!).

In this group, you’ll find anything from romance and historical fiction to mystery and YA. The common thread is that every story’s main character identifies as LGBTQIA. The snippets could range from zero flames to full-on sexytimes; anything goes content-wise. The only rule is snippets will be six sentences long–one for each color in the Pride flag.”

Welcome to another Saturday filled with Rainbow Snippets!

The link below will take you to the public Facebook group where you find both new and established authors posting bits from their WIPs and new releases:

I’ve been working on Lawrence & Curtis’ story daily, giving myself 2k day goals and making them. The other night my little novella that could told me they wanted to be a novel. I look forward to where these guys are taking me.

And we are continuing from where we left off. Warning: the next scene isn’t safe for small minds or people who do not like dirty sex scenes.

His fingertip was rubbing behind the balls, midway before the anus, it’s called the perineum. His finger rubbed, then tapped, then rubbed again. His speed on the cock got faster and finally, he reached out with his left hand and grasped Lawrence’s. Replacing the sheets with his fingers. He slowed as he felt the pressure build and as he slid off the erection, his tongue licked along. One final press behind the balls and he watched with delight as the come spurted onto his cheek, before dripping down to the sheets.

Great scene, very descriptive. Loved the aside thought of “it’s called the perineum.”

There’s something that seems almost businesslike with this, and yet it’s very steamy. As though he knows down to the detail exactly what he’s doing.

I like the little clue you give to his character, when he stops and reaches for his partner’s hand…
